Appearance
This wine is clear and pale purple in color.
Aroma/Nose
The nose is clean with medium intensity aromas. The aromas consist of red plum and raspberry followed by a toasty vanilla note. This wine is youthful.
Taste/Palate
This is a dry wine with medium (+) acidity and medium tannins. The wine is full bodied with a very pronounced flavor profile. The flavor profile consists of jammy, tart fruits such as raspberry and plum followed by the toasty vanilla we picked up on the nose. The finish was medium in length.
Overall Experience
I feel this wine had balance and intensity however lacked the complexity and length, which makes for a good wine. The jammy/cooked traits, higher acidity level and tannins makes this a drink now but has potential for further aging.
