Wine is clear and pale purple in color.

The nose is clean with medium (-) aromas. The aromatic characteristics consist of raspberry, strawberry, red plum, blackberry, clove and spice. I would say this wine is youthful based on the aromas.

Wine is dry with high acidity and medium tannins. It has medium body and flavor intensity as well. The flavor profile consists of blackberry, black cherry, black plum, some prune notes with a chocolate undertone, and wet stone. This wine has a medium (-) length finish.

Overall Experience

Overall, the Pardon & Fils Beaujolais Village had good balance and complexity however the flavor profile lacked intensity and the finish was short. I would consider this to be a good wine that you can drink now but shows signs for potential ageing.
