Overall Experience
With the Mumm Napa Santana Brut there were some distinctive flavors to experience in this wine compared to some of the other wines in their portfolio however is a little pricey. A similar price point could garner you a quality champagne. I think you’re paying more for the “Santana” royalties than for the drinking experience. It is a cool concept that this person of music royalty is involved with this winery. If you’re in Napa and paying a visit to the beautiful Mumm winery, definitely give it a try as part of their tasting experiences.

Winemakers Tasting Notes
The aroma profile is a stimulating blend of honeysuckle, ginger, Bing cherry and plum tones. The ripe fruit flavors explode on the palate with rich layers of fresh fig, vanilla and honeysuckle, wrapped in a round and creamy texture, and underlined by a crisp and refreshing acidity. The aging brought out vibrant nuances of biscuits, hazelnuts, nutmeg and vanilla beans and increased depth and complexity on the finish.
