Aroma/Nose
This wine is clean with pronounced aromas consisting of bright strawberries and citrus. I pick up a little cream and mineral on the nose as well.
Taste/Palate
This wine is dry with high acidity. It has low tannins and is medium minus in body. The flavors consist of strawberry, citrus fruits, cream and a subtle bell pepper or green component in here. The finish is medium in length and full of mineral notes.
Overall Experience
A good wine with a decent amount of complexity from a flavor standpoint. We were anticipating a bit more balanced wine like their Sauvignon Blanc however it’s still great release by Matua Wines. And for the price, you can’t beat it!

Winemakers Notes
Refreshingly fruit, like a sip of summer! This is just our second vintage of Pinot Noir Rosé and it’s packed with deliciously ripe summer fruits. We’re talking about wild strawberry, nectarine, red currents, cranberry, and peach flowing through to a crisp, dry finish. Mouth-wateringly good!
