The Domaine Carneros Estate Brut Cuvee is a clear, pale lemon in color.

Aroma / Nose

The nose is clean with a light intensity of aromas. Aromas consist of lemon, grapefruit, a nice floral and some yeast. I would say this is developing.

Taste / Palate

This is a dry wine with high acidity and lighter body. This has a creamy mousse. The flavors are tart lemon and grapefruit mixed with the floral notes we saw on the nose. The finish is medium in length and has a bread or yeast like note.

Overall Experience

We thought this Domaine Carneros Estate Brut Cuvee was a good sparkling wine that was balanced with some depth to it in terms of complexity. Overall it hits all the right points for someone looking for a refreshing bottle of bubby. If given the opportunity we would definitely drink this one again. You can drink this now, but is suitable for aging.

Winemakers Tasting Notes

Beautiful aromatic notes of fresh flowers, lychee, white peach and pear make this wine irresistible. The delicate nose belies the round, full palate and exceptionally creamy finish. This Brut is one of our best for long aging. It will pay dividends of flavor if you are patient.
