On the palate, the wine is dry with high acidity, low tannins and medium body. This wine also has medium (+) intensity of flavors. The flavor profile closely mirrors the nose. Flavors consisting of blossom, grapefruit, lemon, strawberry and mineral. The finish is medium (+) in length with the mineral note carrying the profile after the wine is gone.
Overall Experience
This Decoy Rosé 2017 had a great balance, complexity, intensity and finish making it an outstanding rosé. A refreshing summer sip that is perfect for warm summer evening. This wine is recommended for drinking now and not suitable for further ageing.
