Appearance
The Cune Rioja Crianza 2015 is clear and medium purple in color.
Aroma/Nose
The nose is clean with a medium intensity of aromas. Aromas consist of black fruits such as black cherry, smoke, spice and vanilla. This wine is developing.
Taste/Palate
This is a dry wine with medium + acidity, tannins and body. The flavor profiles follows the nose for the most part with lots of jammy blackberry and black cherry notes followed by the smoked meats and licorice spice components. There is a medium length finish of vanilla from the oak.
Overall Experience
I thought this Cune Rioja Crianza 2015 had balance and complexity, however I did not find the intensity and finish length to be anything special. I would consider this a good wine that can be drank now, but is suitable for further aging.
Pairings

Winemakers Notes
Pie Cherry, peat and smoked meat on the nose with a creamy dark berry and fruit palate. Very well balanced.
