Tasting/Palate
This is a semi sweet wine with med + acidity. This wine is light to medium bodied on the palate with intense flavor. Flavors of citrus and nectarine hit the palate immediately quickly followed by a floral like component. There is a long mineral finish that lingers leaving the palate feeling refreshed.
Overall Experience
Overall the semi sweetness of this wine was a nice change of pace compared to the typical dry bubbly we tend to stick to. The Chandon Sweet Star was great for pairing with a variety of snacks we had at the table for the NFL playoffs. This is a great option if someone is trying to get into sparkling wines and likes sweeter wines. If someone is looking for a more Brut like style this wine would be a little hard to handle.

Winemakers Tasting Notes
The nose pops with aromas of bright peach, nectarine, grapefruit and tropical fruits complimented by floral notes. The fruit aromas extend onto the generous palate which is rich and sweet but with a distinctive, refreshing acidity that brightens the mouthfeel.
