This wine is clear and pale lemon in color.
Aroma/Nose
The nose is clean with medium (-) intensity. Aromas of fresh apple, lemon, peach and wet stones fill the nose with complexity.
Taste/Palate
This wine is a dry wine with medium acidity and medium (+) body and flavor intensity. Notes of apple, grapefruit, lemon, peach, stone and mineral are the primary notes in this wine. There is some secondary bread like notes that linger on a medium (+) length finish.
Overall Experience
Overall the Chablis Premier Cru Cote de Lechet 2016 had a nice balance and was soft yet had a nice flavor intensity on the palate. There was a nice complexity of flavors ranging from green fruits all the way to stone fruits as well as some terroir like notes with the mineral. We found this to be an outstanding wine.

Chablis, Burgundy, France – The Cote de Lechet shows aniseed and mentholated notes, with cherry plum and fresh apple aromas. The palate is firm, mineral and precise with salty notes as well as aromas of lemon peel.
