This is a white wine, clear with a pale lemon color.
Nose is clean with medium intensity. Aromas of florals, pear and grapefruit are present.
The Castello di Amorosa Pinot Grigio 2016 is a dry wine with crisp, high acidity and light to medium body. We found the flavor profile to be mostly lemon and citrus fruits. The pear was detectable but not nearly as strong as it was on the nose. This was followed by an added flavor of light almond as an interesting twist. There is a medium length finish with a nice lingering citrus component to polish off the experience.
We thought the Castello di Amorosa Pinot Grigio 2016 was a good wine with an interesting twist of an almond note. Overall, a good Pinot Grigio for the summer months coming up! If you can find it somewhere I would recommend giving it a shot!

A lively and crisp dry white wine with zesty citrus and melon aromas, bright acidity, and a refreshing, fruity finish. A perfect afternoon picnic wine.
