Aroma/Nose
Stephanie – Steph had a honeydew melon and tropical fruit.
Stephen – I had tropical fruit, lime or citrus and slight vegetal note like a subtle bell pepper on the nose.
Texture/Body
This was really full, but clean and crisp on the palate. It had a bright acidity to it.
Tasting/Palate
On the palate, I immediately tasted citrus, lime and grapefruit type of flavors. It was definitely a blend of these flavors that continually rotated through the palate during the drinking experience.
Finish
The finish was medium in length with a strong mineral component on the finish.
Overall
Overall Stephanie loved this wine. I thought it was a good hybrid between a New Zealand and Californian Sauvignon Blanc. Overall a refreshing flavor profile that is perfect for summer and the 100-degree Florida heat. Stay thirsty my friends. This wine made us fans of the Margaret River wineries.

Winemakers Tasting Notes
The attack is juicy clean, slightly saline, on notes of passion fruit and citrus. The fresh pithy acidity and mineral character, reminiscent of fine absinthe, fresh ginger and gentian bitters give the wine a lot of vinosity and masculine personality, well balanced by the honey notes and creamy texture of the Semillon and showing exceptional length.
