Appearance
Bottle – Clear with a white and gold vertical label and black font. It has a Red Mulderbosch logo on the bottom what appears to be a print of a hot wax stamp.
Wine – Light straw
Rim – Slight Green undertone.
Aroma/Nose
The wine is clean with vegetal notes on the nose mixed with herbals and a light citrus. Stephanie says “it smells like Africa” (a real analytical nose she has).
Taste / Palate
The wine is crisp on the palate with a high acidity and medium body. Notes of citrus/grapefruit are the first two flavors that hit my palate. Then a slight vegetal notes follow and ends with a light mineral component.
Finish
The finish is short with a slight oak flavor.

Food – Shellfish, Mild cheeses and spicy foods. We paired this with a peppered chicken marsala.
Cigars – Toraño Vault E-021
Accolades
Platter’s SA Wines – 4 Stars

Winemakers Notes
Appearance is delightfully fresh, showing pale straw green hues. The nose has initial savory, herbal aromatics leading to subtle stone fruit and delicate citrus blossom notes. There is a distinct white peach character, as well as a fine, very pleasing oak presence.
