The bottle is clear greenish yellow with a beige label with black and gold fonts.
Wine is clear and has a bright yellow with a slight green rim variation.
On the nose I picked up an immediate notes of floral like sweetness and candied citrus fruits. I thought it was really vibrant and refreshing for such a hot day. Stephanie thought it smelled like a pineapple gummy bear. The wines aromatics are unmatched.
The flavor was full but the wine was light and refreshing on the palate. There was a firm acidity and slight minerality.
The taste of the candied citrus fruits was the first and foremost flavor of this wine. Then the floral components open to leave a slight lingering sensation.
Finish was medium in length and had a light sweetness to it.
For the day, which was scorching hot, this Familia Zuccardi Serie A Torrontes was a real bright point. It really put some flavors on the palate that were heavy on the floral components, which was a great change of pace particularly for me. I really enjoyed this wine.
