Basic Information:Sindicato Maduro
Manufacturer – Sindicato Cigars
Size – Toro
Wrapper – San Andreas Morron
Tobacco Blend – Nicaragua
Pricing – $5.62
Body – Medium
Construction/Appearance:
This Sindicato Maduro has a nice marbling effect between the shades of dark chocolate. The cigar has a real hearty solid feel to it with a few minimal veins and invisible seams. This is finished with a pigtail cap and tapered loose tobacco foot!
Pre-Light:
Aroma – Tobacco and Barnyard
Type of Cut – Straight
Cold Draw – Nutty and Cocoa
After Toast:
First Third – Cocoa, earth and a leather like finish kick this smoke off. It’s a medium plus bodied smoke right out of the gate with the flavors being really rich in the plate. The burn is sharp and ash holds through the third.
Second Third – The cocoa earth and leather remain the dominant notes of this cigar in this third. A little espresso kicks in too with a subtle spice. Body moves more towards the medium here. The burn remains sharp and ash falls at the 3 inch mark! Solid smoke!
Final Third – The Cocoa and earth remain the primary notes but a nice woody note comes out here on the finish. Beautiful transition! The burn remains sharp.
Suggested Pairing:
Bourbon – Basil Hayden
Wine – Pardon & Fils Beaujolais
Overall Experience:
The Syndicate Maduro breaks out the cocoa, earth and leather throughout the entire smoke with nuances of espresso and wood sprinkled in. Lot of distinct flavors in the profile, which makes the experience a great one. I am happy I stumbled upon this stick and am now a fan!
