Cigar Review: Nat Cicco Casino Real

Basic Information: Nat Cicco Casino Real

Size – Torpedo

Wrapper – Ecuadorian Habano

Tobacco Blend – Nicaraguan

Pricing – $5.70

Body – Medium +

This Nat Cicco Casino Real is a nice brown with orange hues in color. There is a few veins visible and seams are tight.

Aroma – Floral, Cedar, Spice

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Musty Wood

After Toast:

First Third – Grassy note and perfumed floral followed by a wood like finish start this cigar. The burn is sharp and ash holds through the third.

Second Third – Perfumed florals mixed with a light nutmeg and cinnamon like spice with a crème brûlée finish are what this middle third is all about. The burn remains sharp and ash fell at the beginning of this third.

Final Third – The florals are still present but the spice and wood notes really take the stage to finish this off with a touch of pepper on the back of the throat. The burn remains sharp.

Suggested Pairing:

Wine – Pine Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon

Scotch – Johnnie Walker Double Black

Overall Experience:

The Nat Cicco Casino Real is a nice stick that reminds me of  a lot of a stronger cuban cigar. This smoke had lots of neat things going on like the perfumed florals and creme brûlée like notes. For the price it’s a no brainer to pick up.
