This is a dry wine with medium + acidity and a medium – body. The flavor profile consists of citrus like notes of grapefruit and melon along with the strawberry components similar to that on the nose. The finish is medium in length and has plenty of minerality.
Overall Experience
Overall, I thought this La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir Rosé 2017 was a good rosé. I would not say it is one of my personal favorite flavor profiles, however it did have a good complexity level to it for a rosé style wine. If you can catch this on sale like I did, it would be a good addition to that light seafood set of apps your serving a group of friends for dinner!
