Basic Information: Guardian of the Farm

Manufacturer – Aganorsa Leaf

Size – Toro

Wrapper – Corojo 99

Tobacco Blend – Nicaragua

Pricing – $8.30

Body – Medium

This Guardian of the Farm is a nice rustic brown orange in color with a few big veins and visible, but tight seams.

Aroma – Sweetness, floral and cedar.

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Cedar and Raisin

After Toast:

First Third – Cinnamon spice and cashew nuts start this off followed by some coffee like notes on the finish. A solid caramel note comes out a few minutes in. A real medium bodied experience. The burn is sharp and ash fell at the inch mark.

Second Third – The cashew notes really come out here followed by the caramel. Beautiful flavors right here. The light cinnamon note plays in at the halfway point of the smoke. The burn remains sharp.

Final Third – The cashew notes really point the palate here getting salty. The deep caramel note sits on the palate during the finish. The burn remains sharp.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Basil Hayden

Wine – Carneros Collines Vineyard Chardonnay, Meiomi Pinot Noir

Overall Experience:

Lot of nice flavors happening in this Guardian of the Farm smoke. Personally the cashew and cinnamon spice note set the stage for me immediately then turning into the caramel note, which just made me love it more. Definitely get out and pick this up when you see it. It is an outstanding smoke.
