After Toast:

First Third – Beautiful sweet bouquet of floral notes kick this off followed by espresso and a tangy cedar finish. Some nice berry like fruit also hit the palate along with spice. Really great fuller bodied experience so far. Burn is sharp and ash holds.

Second Third – The bouquet of florals still pounds the palate mixed with cedar and spice.  At the mid point of this stick, a nice light vanilla intermingles with the spice followed by the fruit notes as well. The burn remains sharp and ash fell at the mid point of the cigar.

Final Third – Vanilla, spice, wood, fruit with a cedar finish begins the final third. A nice espresso note comes in to polish this off. The burn remains sharp.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Woodford Reserve Double Oak

Wine – Duckhorn 3 Palms Merlot

Overall Experience:

Villiger La Vencedora is an amazing smoking experience from start to finish. Tantalizing the palate with a complex flavor profile of florals, espresso, cedar, spice and vanilla really make for a great hour long smoke. Villiger cigars knock it out of the park with this one.
