Cigar Review: Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Tiff

Basic Information: Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Tiff

Size – 6×38

Wrapper – Ecuadorian Connecticutt

Tobacco Blend – Nicaragua

Pricing – $9.00

Body – Medium

The Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Tiff wrapper is a light brown almost brown paper back looking with some dark spots splattered in. This cigar has one big vein I see and visible yet tight seams.

Aroma – Perfumed Cedar and Nuts

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Nuts

After Toast:

First third – Nuts, earth and a light pepper start this third with a toffee like finish. Few minutes in a cream like note mixed with the pepper. The burn is sharp and ash fell at the inch and half mark.

Second Third – Toast, vanilla, nutmeg and pepper kick in this third with the earthiness on the finish. The burn remains sharp.

Final Third – Cedar and cream carry this third with the toffee like note carrying through the finish. This cigar almost turns mild at the end. The burn remains sharp.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Basil Hayden

Wine – Meiomi Pinot Noir

Overall Experience:

This Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Tiff had every possible flavor in the profile consistent with a Connecticut wrapper. From vanilla, cedar, toast, nutmeg, toffee and pepper this really moved around the palate for a complete medium bodied experience. Definitely one of the lighter in the Monster Series, but a homerun nonetheless.
