Tobacco Blend – Nicaraguan

Construction/Appearance:

This Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Frank is a dark chocolate brown and shiny in color with nearly zero veins and invisible seams.

Pre-Light:

Aroma – Nuts and Chocolate

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Nuts and Chocolate

After Toast:

First third – Wood, Chocolate and red pepper take the stage during the opening act here. As it settles in the notes really just carry over with a mixed spice note and sweet molasses  as the red pepper settles.  The burn is sharp and ash fell at the 1 inch mark.

Second Third – The chocolate note mixed with oak, spice and cedar here transition the second third beautifully with a smoked game meats note on the finish. The burn remains sharp.

Final Third – Chocolate, cedar and spice come strong here with the red pepper resurfacing on the finish to give the palate a spicy feel to it. The burn remains sharp.

Suggested Pairing:

Scotch – Aberfeldy

Wine – Domaine Carneros Estate Pinot Noir

Overall Experience:

This is another great smoke to the monster line by Tatuaje Cigars. The Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Frank has plenty of nice flavors in the profile to keep this complexity level high especially in the first third. Definitely try this if you can find it!
