This is a box pressed beauty with a nice rich brown and amber wrapper. This cigar has few if any small veins and seams are visible yet tight.

Aroma – Nuts

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Nuts and Cedar

After Toast:

First Third –  Nuts and cinnamon spice like notes start this off with an earthy like finish. Few minutes in the cigar gets that sweet natural tobacco note mixed with earth so kind of sweet then savory. Nice combo right now. The burn starts off slightly wavy and ash holds through the third.

Second Third – Espresso and earth mixed with a dab of spice kick this third off with the finish moving to a nice leather. Some wood like notes come into the fold intermingled with the previous flavors and leather picks up harder on the finish here. The burn remains wavy and ash fell at the halfway point.

Final Third – This third are espresso, nuts and cinnamon spice predominantly with that bold leather finish. A complete full bodied smoke here at this point. The burn remains wavy.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Basil Hayden

Wine – Chablis Premier Cru Cote de Lechet

Overall Experience:

This Rocky Patel Twentieth Natural is a great smoke with loads of complex flavors from start to finish. The stick starts medium bodied and gradually increased right up to the finish. A nice crescendo of strength and balance in this smoke.
