The Rocky Patel Decade is milk chocolate brown in color with few fine veins and tight barely visible seams.

After Toast:

First Third – This smoke begins with notes roasted nuts and spice followed by a peppery finish. Few minutes into the smoke, a heavy perfumed floral comes into the mix of flavors and takes over the peppery finish. The burn is slightly wavy and ash holds through the third.

Second Third – Nuts and a fruity note – almost like dark cherry begin this third. The pepper comes back in and the finish turns earthy. Nice transition. The burn remains slightly wavy and ash falls at the halfway point.

Final Third – The nuts, spice and fruit notes all carry into this third with the earthy finish really holding on the palate between puffs. The spice is the most dominant of this third. The burn remains slightly wavy.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Bulliet

Wine – Dolce Late Harvest

Overall Experience:

This Rocky Patel Decade tastes like one those fruit and nut bars you would pick up for a snack. Lots of nice consistent notes throughout the cigar. Great flavor profile to have in a cigar that most Aficionados will enjoy!
