Tobacco Blend – Nicaragua
Pricing – $6.00

Construction/Appearance:
Theband is grey like old torn paper with a gargoyle in a medieval arch. Really cool details and rustic looking. Definitely fits the Brand with a name like Relic.
The cigar is a medium to darker brown. Seeing a few veins with barely any seams showing. Messy double cap.
Pre-Light:
Aroma – Hazelnut and Cedar
Type of Cut – Straight
Cold Draw – Nutty and Musty Cedar – similar to the aroma.
After Toast:
First Third – Deep earth, slight creamy espresso and a mild pepper are the initial palate pleasers. Shortly into the cigar a spice and creamy chocolate nutty note come out and pepper remains present but lightens up. Burn is perfect and ash is medium gray in color.
Second Third – Chocolate, cedar and spice take the stage in a nice blend of flavor. Burn remained perfect. Ash fell at the 2.5-inch mark.
Final Third – Chocolate, cedar and spice flavors carry over but I picked up a nice herbal component like sage and slight citrus. Really nice on the palate. Burn remained perfect.
Suggested Pairing:
Cigar City Jai Alai
Wine – Meiomi Chardonnay
Overall Experience:
This Relic Cigars was a good full flavor cigar. Flavors are balanced to perfection and distinct which is always a great experience. I think AJ Fernandez hit this one out of the park. Not a huge brand but you can find this on www.cigarsinternational.com.
