​​Black silver and red band with the standard imposed Nestor Miranda letters.

Cigar is dark chocolate in color with a few big veins and no seams. Finished with a tight triple cap.


Aroma – Sweet Cinnamon Sugar and Cedar.

Type of Cut – V- cut

Cold Draw – Cedar

After Toast:

First third – ​Nice woody cedar notes mixed with spice kick this cigar off. The profile moves to a nice leather like flavor. The burn was perfect even on a windy night. The ash  was dark gray almost black.

Second Third – ​​Flavor profile turns from a leather to a nice black coffee bean. Pepper kicks in a bit here. Burn remained perfect. Ash fell off at the midpoint of the cigar. ​ ​​

Final Third – ​Nice chocolate and cedar notes with an oak finish rounds out the cigar smoking experience. Burn finished perfect.

Overall Experience:

Overall the Nestor Miranda Maduro was good stick from the Nestor Miranda Collection. It was a medium plus experience with relatively simple flavors. I had slightly higher expectations from the aromas of this cigar, but sometimes they can be deceiving.
