Cigar is dark chocolate in color with a few big veins and no seams. Finished with a tight triple cap.
Aroma – Sweet Cinnamon Sugar and Cedar.
Type of Cut – V- cut
Cold Draw – Cedar
First third – Nice woody cedar notes mixed with spice kick this cigar off. The profile moves to a nice leather like flavor. The burn was perfect even on a windy night. The ash was dark gray almost black.
Second Third – Flavor profile turns from a leather to a nice black coffee bean. Pepper kicks in a bit here. Burn remained perfect. Ash fell off at the midpoint of the cigar.
Final Third – Nice chocolate and cedar notes with an oak finish rounds out the cigar smoking experience. Burn finished perfect.
Overall the Nestor Miranda Maduro was good stick from the Nestor Miranda Collection. It was a medium plus experience with relatively simple flavors. I had slightly higher expectations from the aromas of this cigar, but sometimes they can be deceiving.
