First Third – Nuts, cedar and peppery spice start this third. The smoke starts out medium bodied. The burn is wavy and ash holds through the third.
Second Third –The cedar and spice note really carry into this third while the pepper settles down a bit. A caramel note hits the finish in this third. The burn remains wavy and ash falls at the beginning of this third.
Final Third – The spice and cedar really pick up here with that caramel finish that just makes you salivate. The burn remains wavy.
Bourbon – Bulliet
Wine – Terrazas de Los Andes Malbec
This Montecristo Las Vegas Edition was a great cigar with that spice and caramel note really making a big impression on the palate. Loved the pronounced flavor profile in this one with very distinct notes you couldn’t miss if you tried. Check this out if you come across it in the store.
