First Third – The Montecristo Classic Series begins with notes of cream and wood with a subtle toffee on the finish. Cedar notes enter the fold and the finish turns to caramel to round out this third. The burn is pristine and ash holds through the third.

Second Third – Cream and cedar really hit the palate followed by that sweet caramel finish. Great mild smoke so far! The burn remains pristine and ash falls at the 2.25-inch mark.

Final Third – The woody cedar notes carry this one home along with that consistent caramel finish that had held on through the entire smoke. The burn remains pristine.

Suggested Pairing:

Bourbon – Angels Envy

Wine – Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc

Overall Experience:

This Montecristo Classic Series is a solid classic smoke that is just right when you’re looking for a more mild experience. The caramel in this is a real beautiful consistent flavor throughout the entire smoke that you just can’t get enough of.
