After Toast:

First Third – Cocoa, spice and a coffee finish are the notes to look for once this smoke gets started. The burn starts wavy and ash holds through the third .

Second Third – The cocoa and tangy cedar notes followed by the spice and finished with coffee all show themselves in this third.Towards the end go the third a light leather and caramel note enters the fold. The burn remains wavy and ash fell at midpoint of the cigar.

Final Third – The Cocoa, coffee and spice all pound the palate here for a full bodied smoke experience. The finish has that lingering caramel note. The burn remains wavy.

Wine – Conundrum Red Blend

Scotch – Glenlivet 18

Overall Experience:

This Joya De Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo had a great flavor profile with notes of cocoa leading the charge the entire length of the stick. Lots of complimentary notes follow the cocoa like spice and coffee to make this a fuller bodied smoke experience. I would recommend giving this one a shot.
