This Connecticut by Rocky Patel has a walnut colored wrapper with some thin veins and visible but tight seams.

After Toast:
First Third – Notes of vanilla and nutmeg lead this stick off followed by a toasted bread like finish. The burn is sharp and ash holds through the third.
Second Third – The nutmeg note mixed with molasses syrup and the toasted bread like finish are the mainstays of this third. The burn remains sharp and ash fell at the mid point of the cigar.
Final Third – Cedar and nutmeg turning into that syrup like note begin this third with that great toast like finish. Great mild bodied experience. The burn remains sharp till the end.

Overall Experience:
This Connecticut by Rocky Patel is a nice mild smoke to pair with a coffee in the morning. Very light on the palate with a really nice flavor profile of toast, nutmeg, cedar and syrup all coming into play at some point. It also has a great price point at $5.00. This is an easy buy in our book.
