This is a nice semi box pressed torpedo shape with a nice light brown colored wrapper. The cigar has no veins and invisible seams.

Type of Cut – Straight
Cold Draw – Cedar
First Third – This cigar starts with a nice tangy, citrusy wood note with a leathery finish. Pleasant herbaceous notes of creamy spices, such as clove, show off here as well. The burn is slightly wavy and ash holding strong.
Second Third – This third takes a turn to the nutty side in the beginning with the citrus note hanging on. The clove is still present right before the long leathery finish. The burn turns sharp and ash fell at the 3-inch mark.
Final Third – The clove and nutty notes really become strong and the leather finish amps up as well. A real nice bold finish that you don’t want to end. The burn finishes slightly wavy.
Scotch – Johnnie Walker Blue
Wine – Opus One
This Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark was a great cigar. The smoking experience was very similar to the rest of the Don Carlos line, but I found the citrus note to be the subtle difference in this particular version of the smoke. I can absolutely see why this cigar was named cigar of the year 2017 as the flavor profile is incredibly pronounced on the palate. A nice medium to full bodied smoke that gradually increases in strength as the cigar progresses.
