Basic Information: Alec Bradley Black Market The Con

Manufacturer – Alec Bradley Cigars

Size – Toro

Wrapper – Honduran Connecticutt

Tobacco Blend – Honduras, Nicaragua

Pricing – $8.60

Body – Medium (-)

Construction/Appearance:

This Alec Bradley Black Market The Con is light tan in color with that is smooth as it gets with only fine veins running through it. Seams are visible yet tight.

Pre-Light:

Aroma – Nuts and Vanilla

Type of Cut – Straight

Cold Draw – Nuts and Butter

After Toast:

First Third – Nuts and herbal spices come on right out of the gate with a vanilla finish. The burn is slightly wavy and ash holds through the third.

Second Third – The ash falls in the beginning of this third but the nice nutty, spice and vanilla notes carry. The spice note moves more so to the finish here. The burn remains wavy.

Final Third – Nuts, spice, vanilla and some cedar come into the fold here. The body is mild to medium. The burn remains wavy.

Suggested Pairing:

Wine – Markham Tannat

Scotch – Macallan 12yr Double Cask

Overall Experience:

This Alec Bradley Black Market The Con is a good mild to medium bodied smoke experience that has a nice complexity, but yet distinguishable and easily identified flavor profile. I think this would be a great cigar for both a novice or cigar aficionado.
