Appearance – This is a clear wine that is medium lemon in color.
Aroma/Nose – The nose is clean, with medium intensity of green apple, peach, spice and vanilla.
Palate – Wine is dry with medium body. It has a creamy texture that brings green apple and citrus straight to the palate followed by a light vanilla flavor.
Finish – The finish is medium in length and takes the vanilla to a toasted flavor from the oak.
Overall Experience – The Coppola Chardonnay is a good wine but I felt the balance was off just a bit. The intensity of the oak overpowered the other flavor profile of the wine. Not one of my favorites and probably would not buy again.
